Liam could run like a cheetah, climb like a chimp,  fight like a lion but he couldn't fly. The reason was beyond him.

 

His father laughed and reminded him that wings would be tough to explain.

But  Leah, his mother, booked Liam flying lessons,

and the pilot was was really pretty-a nice bonus. 

 

The bad news came when Leah's cell phone rang-no classes for him. The pilot in charge of teaching him was gone and so was her airplane.

 

Liam was ticked off. The city developed a strange knack for losing important assets. First,  part of a library and just after, a pilot with a whole plane.
